The low retracted height of a system is e decided avantage in many applications. For example, a SpiraLift 9-in. diameter unit with roughly 2-ft travel has a minimum height of 7 5/8 in.. and each additionnal foot of travel requires only 3/4-in. A unit with the maximum travel of 15 ft will require a minimum height of only 17 3/8 in. Most applications don't require excavation.
