All beer sales in B.C. are regulated by the Government and come from one of two sources; 1) A government run "Liquor Store" or a privately owned "Beer and Wine Store".
Liquor stores have a wide range of operating hours. Most open at 10am Mon-Sat (some open at 9am). Closing hours are 6pm at some stores but up to 11pm at others Mon-Sat. Liquor stores are closed Sundays. Beer can be bought in singles. Cold beer, not available at all outlets, is charged a premium of 10-25 cents per bottle (depending on brand).
Cold beer and wine stores have wide ranging hours. By law they cannot open before 10am nor stay open past 11pm. Beer is generally not sold in any quantity less than a six pack. Prices are 20-50% higher than in Liquor Stores. These stores are allowed to open Sundays.

Bars and taverns can be open until 1pm for on-sale but off-sale
has to stop selling at 8pm or 10pm depending on your location.
Legal drinking age is 21. Our laws have been getting very
strict on drinking and driving. Even your first time receiving

The Merchant of Vino carries a vast selection of beers. If they don't carry what you want, they'll
try and get it. I frequently get a six-pack of six different beers and they usually only charge
about $7-8.00 (as opposed to most stores around here that charge by the bottle). I think there's
