TBCP About This Site

The Beer Cap Page (TBCP) was started in February 1996 as a collector's web page creation project, and soon became a vibrant forum for all persons interested in the hobby of collecting beer crowncaps. This site is, and will continue to be, a free non-profit service, and contributions to this site are strongly encouraged.

The current look of this web site has been developed to mirror its' current state. The Treefrog font used in the titles and sub-titles is used to illustrate the great haste in creating an update to this site. (The installation of this freeware font is strongly recommended for viewing these pages.) The colour pattern reflects passages of time: white for the innocent vision held when TBCP was started-up; black to represent the nine month period that this site was left abandonned in 1997; and teal is used to promise a bright, modern future.

Although TBCP is best viewed at 640x480 resolution with today's two main graphical browsers, it has been designed to be suitable for all browsers (including non-graphical browsers such as Lynx). The current focus of TBCP is on maximizing information, accessibility and communication for its' visitors and contributors -- at the expense of heavy graphics, frames, and plug-in dependencies.
