 © (1995) One-of-a-kind.
Handmade. 23 inches.
   Head and hands made
of paperclay, cloth body
over a wire armature.

Standing gracefully,
this 18th Century court lady is waiting for a... minuet!

She wears a red silk,
pannier gown embellished with
ribbons, which is a personal interpretation of the Watteau dresses very popular at this era. Her jewelry and her feather
tiara are made from antique
jewelry and buttons and
she hides, under her skirt,
delicate dancing shoes!
