© (1996) One-of-a-kind.
Handmade. 21 inches.
Head and body of paperclay over a wire armature. This doll won, in March 1996,
the second prize for Most Personality
Magazine Doll Contest.

Irresistibly clumsy, a bit
old-fashioned, he does not need seduction lessons. Simply because he wears his heart like a box of candy!

You may have guessed that this doll was inspired by a song from the belgian singer/songwriter and actor Jacques Brel. Titled Les bonbons,
this song tells the story of a shy
young man trying to impress a
woman at their first rendez-vous.
